M. Plaetorius M.f. Cestianus, 57 BC. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.91 g, 6 h), Rome. CESTIANVS - S•C Winged and draped bust of Vacuna to right, wearing crested and laureate helmet, with bow and quiver over her shoulder; to right, cornucopiae. Rev. M•PLAETORIV[S•M•F•A]ED•CVR Eagle standing right on thunderbolt, wings spread and head turned back to left. A. The reverse struck slightly off center and with minor porosity, otherwise, good very fine.
